UVE: Sangiovese 90%, Merlot 10%
Vinificationsmall sized stainless steel vats using selected yeasts and controlled temperature, with repassings and “delestage”
Aging: in 300/500 liter tonneaux. and partly in 225lt barriques. for a minimum of 12/14 months. After bottling it is refined for a minimum of three months before marketing.
Colore: ruby red
Naso: at the beginning you can perceive a strong fresh red fruit, such as currants, strawberries and cherries. The violet is clearly recognizable on the palate.
Bocca: pleasant, fruity wine, supported by the typical acidity of Sangiovese and characterized by long and elegant tannins.
Abbinamenti: if drunk young it is the perfect combination with cured meats and medium-sized cheeses, grilled white meats. An ideal wine also as an accompaniment to any meal.
Service temperature: 16-17°C
